Barnes Construction sponsors ellenor's Memory Bear for Dartford Art Trail - Barnes Construction

We are supporting ellenor’s ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ art trail by sponsoring the charity’s special Memory Bear, which will provide a lasting place for remembrance long after the trail ends.

The public art trail launches across Dartford on Friday 17 July, bringing a collection of beautifully designed bear sculptures to locations throughout the town. Among them will be the Memory Bear, created by Dartford-born illustrator Becky Shepperson.

Inspired by themes of childhood, joy and remembrance, the Memory Bear will carry the names of loved ones, offering families a meaningful way to celebrate and remember those they hold dear while supporting ellenor’s vital hospice care.

Having recently delivered ellenor’s new Wellbeing Centre, we are proud to support the charity once again through sponsorship of this sculpture.

Unlike many of the bears on the trail, the Memory Bear’s journey will not end when the event concludes. The sculpture will remain at ellenor hospice as a permanent feature, continuing to honour the names and memories of loved ones for years to come.

The We’re Going on a Bear Hunt trail invites residents and visitors to explore Dartford, discover the bears and support ellenor’s work helping local families facing life-limiting illness and bereavement.
