The project was completed to a fast track programme to allow early fitting out and trading by the retailers.

The retail units were constructed using steel frame single storey structures with the building envelope formed with a combination of glazed curtain walling and horizontal insulated wall cladding. The roof construction was formed using an insulated roof cladding system. Internally, the units were completed to a shell specification level to allow individual tenants to fit out the internal retail spaces to their own specific requirements.

The project also included the formation of the external car parking areas, landscaping, drainage, services and the construction of a rear goods delivery yard area.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Fortnightly newsletters giving local business and residents an update on progress at Futura Park were sent out to enable those residents close by to have an understanding of the level of work and disruption that may occur.  We engaged with a local High School to take on work exchange students on site to get an insight into their chosen career paths.
