Barnes Construction are thrilled to have recently been appointed to Lot 2 (£750k-£4.5m) and Lot 3 (£4m+) for the Suffolk County Council and Concertus Design and Property Consultants Construction Framework.
This is the 4th generation of the framework with Suffolk, that has seen us deliver over £145.6m worth of projects in our local communities over the years, going back to 2005.
The new framework is set to run from 1st June 2023 until 31st May 2027 and will focus on providing sustainable and cost-effective buildings to underpin SCC’s commitment to Net Zero carbon emissions by 2030. This is another significant win for our business for opportunities in our home county over the next four years.
Matthew Self, Managing Director at Concertus, said:
We are thrilled that the new iteration of the Suffolk County Council Construction framework is now live. It is great to see the enthusiasm of all contractors and suppliers in supporting the Councils ambition to achieve their Net Zero and Social Value targets. These commitments will make a real positive difference to Suffolk communities over the next 4 years. We are excited to see so many local firms appointed and look forward to continuing our positive working relationships.
