Due to the fast-track nature of this project, this scheme was procured using a two stage tender approach.

The existing building was externally fully refurbished with replacement of the existing roof and wall cladding in addition to creating a new frameless glazed entrance statement.

Internally, additional floor space was created via the installation of a new mezzanine floor supported via new short bored piled foundation bases. The retail space was fully fitted with the formation of new retail areas including room settings, the formation of a new customer cafe’ including new kitchen area and visitors toilets. Specialist installations included new lifts, an escalator and new building services.

The existing car park area was also modified and resurfaced.
