We are reworking existing spaces within the school, including sports facilities, to create new spaces for Design and Technology, Art, Science and Textiles. This space also provides ancillary spaces such as offices and toilet facilities. Having converted the old sports hall, the scheme introduces a brand-new sports hall/studio space, with changing rooms and shower facilities. Finally, the scheme sees provision of a new 6,771m2 all-weather pitch with FIFA standard Tiger Turf Atomic Pro 3G surface, with associated ancillaries.

Progress so far

• Refurbished and handed over existing classrooms
• Humanely (and in line with the law) relocated badgers off the site of the 3G Pitch
• Constructed a new acoustic fence to reduce noise travelling to neighbouring housing estates
• Substructural works, like foundations for the sports hall and drainage
• Installation of the superstructure for the new sports hall, including steel frame, and concrete floors
• Completed and handed over the 3G Pitch.

• Installing both flat and pitched roofs
