The project comprised of the construction of a five storey 81 bedroom premier inn hotel including a ‘beefeater’ restaurant facility.
The accommodation within the new hotel comprised of 81 en-suite bedrooms, ‘Beefeater’ restaurant with kitchen and customer toilets, lift and stair cores, roof level plant room, laundry rooms and staff facilities.
The building was constructed using CFA piles, a steel frame ground floor transfer structure with steel composite decking type floor construction with a four storey timber frame structure above. The external envelope of the building was clad with coloured rainscreen cladding with aluminium windows and doors. External works comprised of a new disabled persons type entrance ramp and steps together with a large customer car parking area.
