THE PROJECT COMPRISED OF EXTENSIVE EXTENSIONS AND REFURBISHMENTS TO THE EXISTING HIGH SCHOOL TO CREATE IMPROVED ACCOMODATION AND INCORPRATE A NEW SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOL FACILITY. THE PROJECT WAS PROCURED VIA AN NEC PARTNERING CONTRACT UNDER A FRAMEWORK ARRANGEMENT
The new extensions were constructed using single storey and two storey steel frame structures with composite steel deck upper floors. The envelope of the building was formed with a combination of decorative facing brickwork and through coloured render finishes
The project included the provision of new hard and soft play areas, a MUGA pitch, landscaping and vehicle parking and drop off areas
