Work is well underway to construct The Limes Primary Academy in Oulton, Lowestoft.
Building started in July 2017 on the single and two-storey interlinked blocks which when complete will have the capacity to eventually accommodate 420 children and provide an adaptable and flexible space that can be used by the community outside of school hours.
The school which is on Lime Avenue and will be run by the REAch2 Academy Trust, has been designed by Concertus Design & Property Consultants and as well as the primary academy, a pre-school is being built that will offer 30 places to the local community.
Gordon Jones, Suffolk County Council Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, Education and Skills said: “When the academy opens in September, it will be an exciting development for Oulton, providing much-needed additional school places.”
