It comprises a three-storey teaching building, sports hall and multi-use games area, along with associated access routes, and parking facilities.

The school was delivered on time, with lean planning workshops held with subcontractors to improve efficiencies and outcomes. Due to comprehensive value engineering and cost control processes, it was also delivered below the DFE funding limit per m².

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We ensured that the Academy’s construction delivered employment opportunities for local people. All site labourers lived within a 10-mile radius of site and key sub-contract packages were sourced from within the local area. Three apprentices worked on the scheme from within our supply chain, alongside two Barnes Construction Management Trainees. We also hosted three work experience students throughout the course of the project.
