The new 11 classroom extension was constructed using a single storey steel framed structure clad with an insulated curved roof finish.  The external envelope of the building was constructed using a combination of decorative facing blockwork, through colour render and insulated composite cladding.  Internally, educational type finishes and fittings were provided.

Bringing experience gained from a previously design and build sports hall we delivered savings to SCC over the chosen turn-key sports hall contractor.  The finished design utilised a steel frame structure clad with a insulated wall and roof cladding. The external envelope also incorporate decorative facing blockwork and a coloured entrance framing.  A cold pour composite floor system was used for the sports area.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We liaised with the school and took part in assemblies to provide pupils with project information on the current works, this included site visits for all pupils to see the project works being undertaken. Linked with businesses local to the project site for Catering for site meetings and for workers, welfare and highway cleaning, security/guarding. An example of our localism strategy for this project confirms that 67% of all operatives came from within 30 miles radius and 92% within 60 miles.
