The project comprises of the expansion of an existing retail centre shell units to provide 3 additional retail shells for occupation by Aldi, Greggs and Fit 4 Less.
The project is being completed in phased sequences and also includes alterations to the existing Co Operative store as well as alterations to the existing car parking and circulation areas.
The retail units are being constructed using steel frame single storey structures with the building envelope formed with a combination of glazed curtain walling, facing brick cavity wall construction and insulated wall cladding. The roof construction was formed using an insulated roof cladding system. Internally, the units were completed to a shell specification level to allow individual tenants to fit out the internal retail spaces to their own specific requirements.
The project also includes the formation of additional remodelled external car parking areas, landscaping, drainage, services and the construction of a rear goods delivery yard area.
