THE PROJECT COMPRISED OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW BURGER KING DRIVE THRU RESTAURANT ON AN EXISTING BROWNFIELD SITE
The single storey building incorporated a restaurant seating area, servery counter, customer toilets, kitchen and food preparation areas, cold rooms and drive thru servery counters. The building was constructed using a single storey curved roof steel frame structure. The building was clad externally with composite insulated roof and wall cladding with aluminum curtain walling to the restaurant area. Internally, the building was finished with high quality robust and hygienic wall and ceiling finishes together with bespoke joinery fittings.
Externally, the project included the construction of new customer parking areas, a drive thru lane and improvements to the adjacent river footpath. New drainage, external lighting, signage and mains services were also provided.
