THE PROJECT COMPRISED OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF 97 DWELLINGS CONSISTING OF A MIXED AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT OF APARTMENTS AND TWO, THREE AND FOUR BEDROOM HOUSES. THE PROJECT WAS PROCURED VIA A TWO STAGE TENDER ROUTE
The 97 dwellings were constructed on a 'greenfield' site using traditional methods of construction as well as incorporating modern methods of achieving highly insulated low energy properties. Externally, the building envelope to the dwellings was finished with a combination of facing brickwork, coloured render and timber windows to create a visually interesting development
The project also incorporated the construction of estate roads, footpaths, parking areas, landscaping, drainage and services
Key features of the project were:-

- Low maintenance products selected for all external finishes
- Gas fired energy efficient condensing boilers
