THE PROJECT COMPRISED OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW TWO STOREY OFFICE BUILDING TOGETHER WITH A BASEMENT LEVEL ARCHIVE STORAGE FACILITY. THIS PROJECT WAS PROCURED VIA A SINGLE SOURCE NEGOTIATION ROUTE
The new two storey office building was constructed using a steel frame structure clad externally with a cavity facing brickwork outer skin. The roof finish comprised of an artificial slate roof finish fixed to a unilin structurally insulated roof panel system. A basement level reinforced concrete archive store was formed including the installation of a sliding archive storage system. Internally, the offices were generally open plan spaces with the formation of some individual office and meeting room accommodation. The offices areas included the provision of underfloor heating and a data services network.
